He looks fabulous and, no, I did not guess what the sign would say. I'm glad to hear that Alexandra now enjoys tea. I definitely drink more tea than coffee...love it!

I feel sad for Alexandra that she missed out on the childhood delight of getting Easter eggs/baskets...right up until you gave her some, that is. My kids were always ecstatic each Easter Eve knowing that the Easter Bunny would visit them through the night with chocolate goodies.

Wishing you, Alexandra, and family, a magical Easter!

I did manage a WIP sketch and I squeezed in by 2½ hours according to Mr Linky's deadline, even though I actually posted it on my blog today (Thursday), my time. All mismatched floral cups, beautifully done at little tables all around her well tended flower gardens. Yes,I did make the teeth and eyes a wee bit scary deliberately as zaniness can be that way and when I read about how Carroll envisioned the white rabbit, he noted how it would be nervous all the time adn jittery so tried to show that.

Ha, I have to laugh--you are describing our next summer tea picnic coming up brilliantly, or hperhaps that last one. If you want to come all the way to Colorado, you will be most invited! In fact, we are thinking of renting china for the party to make it that much more special. :)

I think this piece does have a down the hole feeling too, exactly! you so pegged it.

An Italian lemon creme cake sounds utterly divine--not that I ;ve ever had one but even so! :) Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17712046924863763290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5121812607429910170.post-32139582949964212312017-04-12T15:59:44.385-07:002017-04-12T15:59:44.385-07:00I love it when I can surprise you and others, alwa...I love it when I can surprise you and others, always challenging myself to not take the first idea that pops into mind and see how far I can push it. In fact, coming up with the idea is usually my fave part of the process. :)

Yes, I remember reading about your mad hatter tea party well! It was really fun to see that. Glad that is a happy memeory for you, Wanda. So, what will you do for 80? I still can't believe you are 75 and so spritely. My mother, although 86, is certainly on her last legs and doing poorly. A Mad Hatter's tea party perhaps. I actually attended a candlelit Mad Hatter's tea party several years ago at my favorite tea room. It was fun, informative, and everything was delicious and your white rabbit would have fit in very nicely. There's a write up and pictures on my blog if you'd like to see. I hope you have a very nice Easter - cinnamon rolls at lunch time sounds great to me. Maybe with some fresh strawberry crepes.
