Plump, you said?

Plump delicious plums, pears or what have you is not what I chose for this week. Ha. As it is, I've really wanted to go back and complete my initial Opera illustration.Sure, she's plump but, wow, those hamster vocals will blow you away! :)

In the meantime what did you plump out for this challenge? Can't wait to check later. Thank you.

  1. Looking forward to seeing your opera piece later Michael.
I'm up early and heading to my garden with the hoses - mid- 90's again today and no rain expected. No garlic growing but a lot of other plants need drink!

    Hugs - Mary

    1. You were the first one here and will have seen, Mary, that I mistakenly noted I'd have this ready Thursday night. Oops. Meant tonight, Wednesday. Up now.

Yes, I imagine it's hot there! HEre, not too bad but major hail and cracked windshield, dented car, etc. Thanks for contributing this go around too.

    2. In the background I'm playing Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries and your Brunhilde is looking amazing in her role! Love your costuming and the helmet with flying braids - the ring of fire is awesome - and I'm expecting Bryn Terfel to arrive any moment! Oh what an opera - never seen it live but perhaps some day!

This is such a magnificent piece Michael, so glad you completed it for us to see.

      Mary -

P.S. sorry to hear of the hail damage - weather is so unpredictable, just like life!!!!

    2. I'm guessing the opera would do the flames with flames and sheets of plastic, btw. :) not real fire. hahaha.

    2. I was actually thinking about how funny it would be if you were in the middle of a Wagner opera and then out walks this plump hamster singing like the little chipmunks. Ha ha Ha

  7. Glad you were able to finish up your opera singing hamster!

I had hamsters as a child, and one daughter had some. Can't say I ever heard one sing, but they were certainly entertaining!
