There's always gotta be one of them, doesn't there? That class clown! Yes, remembering Serena's dancing flamingos a couple of week's ago led me to conjure up this idea. More rushed than I'd like but you get the idea.
Who among you, I wonder, has embraced your own one-of-a-kind?
Looks like they're having wild old time - very cute and funny, also I love the pink and aqua vibes. The polka dot tie is the perfect touch Michael.
ReplyDeleteAs I said, will not be participating for the next several weeks, sorry, but hope to back and more than ready for a picnic then!
Take care, Mary x
Haha this is a funny one, he is just being himself haha.
ReplyDeleteAs always on Wednesdays, I am on the fly, but I must say I love your class clown flamingos ... it is true, there is always one and they are surely one of a kind. Sorry I missed last weeks post and this whole week has been out of control so I haven't been able to post my daily drawings ... sometimes life just gets away from us :) Feels good to be back this week. I do so enjoy this exercise is friendship :)

I love this Michael! Yes...there is always one ha ha ha! That's very cute and so well drawn!!! Love those colours!
ReplyDeleteOh Michael, Michael, I'm laughing so hard. Your "one of a kind" flamingo is such a hoot, and standout. The tie...what a perfect final touch to a hilarious cartoon. I was never a shy one, and I can see myself in my younger days being that one, and seeing my mom just shake her head...you have captured the clown in all of us!
ReplyDeleteI like to think i embrace my "one of a kind" features, life is too short not too :)
ReplyDeletethis is cute, I like this flamingo's style very much especially the polka dot tie.
ReplyDeleteit has been weeks since I joined in and it will be more weeks after this, too busy at work and not quite in my creative mood these days. at least, I got a piece done, well, half done.
have a lovely day.
You're right-there's always one in the crowd. This so much fun - the subject matter, the colors, everything! Would not, in a million years, guessed it was rushed.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly which friend of mine is the flamingo in the middle--love her! Love your drawing too, with the wonderful expressions on all three of the flamingos.
ReplyDeleteVery nice flamingos! They sure look like they're having a good time.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Michael! I think 'class clowns' are great...they make people smile and help the break the boredom. The colours and layout is fabulous! Is this a digital sketch?
ReplyDeleteSorry I couldn't participate this week...I've been dealing with a very painful gum situation caused by a nasty wisdom tooth. That hard to focus type-of-pain. The wisdom tooth will be coming out early May. The pain has eased somewhat now so, if I get a chance, I will do mine late and add it to my post next week. :)
Party time in Flamingoville! The "star" in the centre is hilarious. I can tell he marches to his own beat. Flamingos are crazy enough... but a clown flamingo takes the cake!
