It's Scribble Picnic time once again and this time as far flung as Across the Universe! When your love is strong, vibrant, and your connection deep, the miles between you can fade away where even if you can't call, there's always the power of imagination! :) Love knows no bounds.
So, how far flung did you throw your picnic blanket this week? Let's find out! (Oh, and yes, I still plan to visit everyone from last week's Opera so will be making double the rounds this week. Sorry to have kept everyone waiting there. Speaking of which, my Viking hamster is still not complete but I did go back and re-imagine it to something possibly more engaging.)

ReplyDeleteIt's very true about love :) Alex and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary today and I'm doubly celebrating the end of spring cleaning lol! I hope I can get some painting done today I have some ideas about this week's theme! :)

Yes, pretty much most of them and that's why I was up until 1:30 this morning, having started at 7:00 pm last night! Oy! Tired now and taking another tea break to wake up! thank you so much, Andrea. Yes, I think I've got the romantic sidefairly down pat. Ha. I was thinking of Alex being away in KY helping her fam there for the next few months but we call and text each other often anyway.
DeleteMy son used to skype his wife when she was home with her family ... now they both have iphones so they can face to face call on them. And we also have "What's Ap" which is interned on our phones and we can face to face from Thailand free. Sorry you are apart, I know how hard that is. But, the time will fly and Alex will be back before you know it. Be well ...

DeleteI think this is so imaginative and sweet. Reminds me of the scene in Apollo 13 when he's in the capsule looking down on the Earth and she's in the house looking up to the sky through the window. Of course, they couldn't communicate, but there was a communication of the heart and spirit. Aren't we so lucky to have technology at hand to keep us in touch with those we love.

DeleteMagnificent illustration, Michael...I love it! The white, swirly lines seem to give off a sense of distance...great universe colours! And yes, definitely apt for this week with Alexandra away...I'm sure you miss her but thank goodness for modern technology. Not to mention the passing of one of the world's great Physicists, Stephen Hawking. I hope to be back on board from next week and hopefully I can get some of the ideas I've had for the prompts over the past few weeks down on paper too. I want to kick this pain and depression to the kerb.
