Pajamas and Picnics

Mummies in Pajammies

Welcome back to Scribble Picnic! Yes, my piece is coming along but am running behind. I'll have it up though by end of day. There's still a fair bit of detail yet to add even though it's already drawn out (as you might have seen if following my Instagram video stories). It's also a bit tongue-in-cheek, so do please check back here later, whilst too discovering who else contributes to our flanneled feast today! :) For my part, I'm thinking pajamas & banana splits. Anyone with me?

P.S. Don't forget that you have two whole weeks to come up with something for Quilts! Ha, I've already an idea but will likely not get to that until after my return from Kentucky, having visited by that point Alexandra who's been there helping her family and such.

  3. No worries, Michael...these things happen. Sometimes, life gets in the way even with the best of intentions. Rest those eyes and give yourself a break. Thanks, Alexandra for adding our links.

    1. Well I hope "we're not going anywhere!" I sometimes suspect people will give up on me when I'm flaky! You are so wonderful, Wanda. --encouraging. A similar heart to mine. Thank you.

  9. Michael!!!! Long time no see! I am finally back to some semblance of normal where time is once again available to get back to visiting my favorite creative people.

I adore this theme and the image of the mummy jammies!

Sofie made me a pair of pajamas last year, the first I've owned in almost 30 years. And now, I can't imagine not having them ever again. Changing into them is a perfect way to signal the end of the work day. Once they're on, it's only reading, entertainment/Netflix and relaxation. . . usually with a late night treat from our local bakery or a home baked one like apple strudel with ginger ice cream. :) But in warm weather? A banana split sounds just perfect!!! I'm embarrassed to say it may have been almost as long since I've had one. . . must resolve that. :)
