Scribble Picnic: Moonlight Garden

"She found solace in the shadows of her moonlight garden..."

Here's my piece for this week's challenge — all coloured in now, lush with deep hues, and just begging for a story!

Your mission was to use this kind of shape and come up with the rest of the picture. I went with the windows. What did you do?

  2. Love her crimson dress and hair. It is indeed begging for a story. The colors add to the mysterious feeling of your piece. I so enjoy looking at this.

  3. I don't know how you're doing it, but this really has a 3-D effect to it.... at least to me.

  4. Oh, I like this so much better than last week's version! She looks pensive now, rather than sad. And the colors, though dark, are gorgeous!

    1. You see, I took your comment to heart and it ws the catalyst to have me change her look. I used an actual person's photos for the face for reference.

  5. this definitely have a different feeling compare to the monotone in the first version, more rich in color & more dimension. though I think she shouldn't wear color at all to blend into the night scene but this is great.

    have a lovely day.

    1. I debated the dress but decided red worked well with that gothic feel but black could have been jsut as good but perhaps hard to see any dark flowers or shadows against it, and the reality is though, I love using red in my art! :) Thank you, Lissa.

    1. Exactly. And her face is modeled after a real live cosplayer woman we know online. :)
